Sökandet efter P Grenander

Author: Idag var bibelskoleklasskompis Felicia med tillhörande Richard i Broby på snabbvisit.
Richard hade nån gammal anfader som varit kyrkoherde i Ö Broby församling (min hemförsamling, wiiii) på artonhundratalet, och undersökandet av detaljerna kring denne föranledde alltså besöket. (Under “Kuriosa” kan noteras att han ska ha dött i predikstolen…from man.)
Vi letade upp hans gravsten för att utreda huruvida Grenanders förnamn var, som Richards undersökningar visat, Paul, eller om Fastrarna skulle få bekräftad sin teori att han stavade det Pål.
Nåväl, vi hittade stenen. Handhuggen, by the looks of it. Där stod det “P Grenander”. Vi gick in i kyrkan och konsulterade series pastorum. Richard fick rätt. Det skulle han gnugga fastrarnas ansikte i, tydligen.
Richard försökte bryta sig in på orgelläktaren men det gick inte, så han fick hålla till godo med flygeln. Försökte sig på “Större än Eiffeltornet” men hade inte den rätta knycken. Ingen rock ‘n roll på kantorsutbildningen, uppenbarligen.
Det där som syns på andra sidan dörren till höger om orgelpiporna, det är Richards ansikte…
Sedan åt vi lunch på Gästgivaregården. Jag önskar att jag kunde göra reklam för det enda matstället (förutom tre pizzerior) i min hemby, men… Jag behöll inte den maten i så många timmar.
