King of Bullshit

Author: Pratade med min framtida hyresvärd idag, om en forntida strukturtapet i min framtida hall som jag gott tycker kunde bytas ut. Detta påtalade jag redan för en och en halv vecka sedan när vi pratade. Det hade han dock så lämpligt förträngt idag.
- Jag skulle vilja veta när den där halltapeten är uppsatt?
- Jaså, men vi trodde ju att allt var klart nu och att ni ville ha lägenheten som den var, för det var ju det det gällde alltså, som den var… Ja är ni inte intresserade så har vi ju fler på kö, så då är det ju inte mer än att den får gå till nån av dem då…
- Nej alltså vi vill fortfarande ha lägnheten, det handlar inte om det. Men jag vill veta när halltapeten är uppsatt? Det tycker jag inte är nån särskilt konstig fråga.
- Ja du, det kan jag inte svara på sådär, det kan ju vara så att nån hyresgäst tapetserat om utan att vi vet om det…bla bla… Men om ni inte vill ha lägenheten så har vi ju fler alltså…
- Nej vi vill ha lägenheten. Men jag har ju sett bilder på tapeten och vet att den är lite till åren kommen och sjavig, och jag tycker det kunde vara rimligt att få det fixat.
- Ja du, det är lite svårt för mig att säga så här på rak arm.. Jag håller på lite med en annan kund här också nu så jag kan inte se det just nu…
- Men kan du inte kolla upp det då? Så kan du höra av dig, eller så hör jag av mig senare idag?
- Jo, ja… Ja, jag får kolla på det då, så hör jag av mig till dig senare.
Touché, tänkte jag.
Men senare ringde han tillbaka, och då var det idel förhalningar och undanflykter och dåliga ursäkter, ja sånt vi ungdomar brukar kalla för BULLSHIT. Han hävdade bestämt (fast inte så övertygande) att de inte kunde veta när tapeten var uppsatt, antagligen för att han då skulle tvingats erkänna att den hängt där ett bra tag och de fakto behöver bytas. Han körde den intressanta (och otroligt irriterande) attitydkombinationen dum/överlägsen.
Så jag fick ge mig till slut. Man kan inte vinna en diskussion med en alltför dum (om än spelat) motpart. Man får bara samma svar om och om igen….
Sorry, kära framtida kombosar. Vi får leva med skabbig strukturtapet och en hyresvärd som hatar mig.
