Ack Värmeland du sköna

Author: Familjen drog till Värmland måndag-tisdag för att hälsa på long time no see-släkt, pappas moster Maria och morbror Einar (med fru Svea, dotter Lizzy och svärson Sven).
Vi åkte upp på måndagen, avgångstid var satt till 0800, den som gissar vilken tid vi lämnade Oröd får…..ehm…en kram. Eller nej förresten. Ni får inget alls (tänk om det blir nån jag inte ens känner, konstigt att krama den bara sådär). Men gissa gärna.
På vägen upp stannade vi i Mariestad för att äta. Där kunde man betala med rikskuponger. Haja (liten tribut där till Martina Haag) att pappa var nöjd. På teve var det Extreme Home Makeover, och den enorma grävskopan damp ner i taket på familjens gamla hus, sa en liten pojke vid bordet bredvid (på stockholmska eller nåt dylikt):
-Pappa, varför ska’rom paja de huset?
Kunde inte sagt det bättre själv.
Klockan fyra knackade vi på moster Marias dörr. Efter fikat åkte vi till hennes gamla hus i Rudskoga, lika vackert som nånsin. Vi övernattade på vandrarhemmet i Åtorp, varifrån vi har med oss en Svenssonsk kylväska som kan hämtas ut mot beskrivning i Oröd (leverans på beställning). På vandrarhemmet hittade vi en dörr till Narnia, fast den var dold bakom ett 90-tals-draperi och inte i nån sirlig garderob, men det är ju alltid lite romantiserat i filmerna. Vi upptäckte att mamma har kronisk rabies men att hon glömt bromsmedicinerna hemma, så om hon fick ett anfall tänkte vi skicka henne genom sagda dörr. Det fick hon inte.
Vi diskuterade också på morgonen huruvida ET cyklade i små ramper på sin bakgård, och så kom vi på Carl med att ha smugit upp på natten (halv tolv) för att knipa mig i armen. Jag vaknade inte, men har ett blåmärke som bevis.
Eftersom päronen hade ett eget rum, fick ju Carl och jag ta till alla kända metoder för att få upp våra småsyskon ur sängarna. Hela pappas väcknings-arsenal (uråldrig vetenskap, goes waaaay back till 90-talet) gicks igenom:
Carl sa till Elin: "Nu är det uppstigedags"
Carl och jag visslade pappas speciella väcknings-trudelutt: "Fjuh fjuh fjuh fjuuuuh-fjuuuh"
Vi hade ingen gitarr, men vi härmade e-strängen så gott vi kunde: "PAOW!"
Carl sa: "Du. Nu är det dagsDu. Nu får du gå uppDu. Upp med dig nuDu."
Gissa vad de svarade? Det vanliga:
- JAAaaaah….argh.
På tisdagen träffade vi Einar och Svea och Lizzy och Sven och gick ut och åt med dem. Sen skubbade jag från fikat, det sägs att jag missade fem sorters "hembakta riktiga kondiskakor", vad det nu kan betyda, samt tårta, men det bekommer mig inte så mycket, för jag fick träffa Emma, long time no see-vapendragare från tiden i Frankrike. Vi åt glass med ingående topping och diskuterade med en vis man i keps. Eller ja. Han höll monolog, och vi hummade. Hans resonemang löd ungefär som följer:

Ah jag tror att den är mörk, alltså. Den är mörk.
På vägen hem lyssnade vi på Martina Haags malande i flera timmar. Hon var stundtals rätt rolig, men i längden något dryg. Insåg att det finns ju vissa likheter oss emellan (lika bra jag skriver det, fastrarna hade ändå genomskådat), men jag tycker att jag bloggar ju bara, det står väl var och en fritt att läsa eller låta bli, eller hur?! Jag ger mig inte ut för att vara författare eller nåt. Jag bara säger.
