Nykomling och comebackare

Men sån är ju jag. Trevligt att vara här i alla fall.
Arbetslös och -sökande för tillfället. Det är nästan ett jobb i sig. Telefonköer är precis lika frustrerande som bilköer, believe me. Den lugnande klassiska musiken hjälper inte ett dugg. Men som det står på Arbetsförmedlingens hemsida: att söka arbete är en konst man lär sig. Jag kör på med min allra trevligaste röst och hoppas charma någon med mina tre år på samhällsprogrammet…
Hinner dock med diverse trevliga små projekt om dagarna nu när man inte har skolan att tänka på jämt. Renoverat postlåda i två veckor. Skruvat och pillat, slipat, målat, torkat, målat, torkat, skissat, målat, torkat, målat, torkat, handlat skruvar på Lindvalls Järn i Broby (Åk dit! Det är som hämtat från 50-talet med lång disk och tusen små lådor bakom, och de har verkligen a l l t. En upplevelse.), skruvat, målat, torkat och skruvat upp den på sin plats uppe vid vägen igen. Det är mer jobb att renovera en gammal rostig postlåda än man tror, och färgen torkar inte alls när det regnar ute, även om den ligger under tak. den torkar inte förrän den legat på hallgolvet i ett dygn ochdet luktar färg i hela huset. Men upp kom den till slut, med både mina snirkelmönster och Elins fjäril och nyckelpiga på. Alla nöjda och glada.
Dessutom har jag nu äntligen gjort comeback på hästryggen. Efter mer än två års abstinensbesvär fick jag äntligen rida igen. Jag är inte bäst i världen på det, men fy vad kul det är. Fattar inte att jag kunnat vara utan det så länge. Men ridbyxorna var det några godispåsar sen jag sist använde, så det blir att dra till Hööks och förnya garderoben. Smartare har jag nog också blivit, för hjälmen passar inte heller längre. Men ridkläder är roligt att köpa, så det ska nog bli bra.
Kataloger är en annan sysselsättning man kan ta till. Helt okej faktiskt. Man kan t ex läsa arbetsförmedlingens katalog om jobb och framtid och lära sig saker, eller så kan man vara lite mer bekväm och läsa inredningsmagasin och fyllas av lust. Ja, köplust, menar jag. (obs: stulen replik) Fast jag tycker allt mamma kunde prenumerera på Sköna Hem istället för Allt I Hemmet, dom har ju lantköksspecial i vartannat nummer. Nej, tacka vet jag Ikea-katalogen. Den är det enda raka. Sjukt snyggt, och när man efter flera hundra sidor underbara textiler, skåp och stolar blivit sådär hagalen, då vet man att allt i katalogen kan köpas. Det är intearvegods från en rik berest moster som köpt det av en bonde i Guatemala, nej det finns tusen exemplar i Älmhult, alla kan få varsitt. Det kallar jag fynd.
